Within this thriving manufacturing environment, the Human Resources Generalist - Bilingual is a vital role intended to provide comprehensive HR support to one of Novolex’s manufacturing sites. Reporting primarily to the Human Resources Manager, this role involves working closely with site leadership teams to ensure the site’s ability to attract, retain, and develop a skilled workforce that meets the company’s standards of quality and operational excellence. The role emphasizes employee and community engagement, fairness in HR practices, and compliance with all applicable policies. This position acts as a business partner by aligning HR strategies with operational goals, coaching frontline leaders, and leading talent acquisition efforts, particularly for hourly positions. Alongside recruitment, the Generalist manages onboarding, training, and performance management to foster a workplace culture aligned with Novolex’s core values.

The role requires managing employee relations activities such as investigations and exit interviews, auditing policy adherence, and maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local laws. The Generalist is also responsible for analytics and reporting to identify trends impacting workforce performance and recommending corrective actions. By collaborating with centers of excellence across talent acquisition, compensation, benefits, and employee experience, the HR Generalist helps maintain a healthy, engaged, and productive workplace environment.

The position requires bilingual proficiency in Spanish and benefits from HR certifications such as PHR or SHRM-CP. Experience in manufacturing or distribution settings is preferred to effectively partner with business leaders in a fast-paced industrial environment. The compensation range for this role is approximately $65,000 to $85,000 annually, with additional bonus potential and comprehensive benefits including 401(k) with company match, medical, dental, vision insurance, paid time off, and wellness programs.
