Job Requirements

  • three years or more experience in human resources or related field
  • four-year degree in human resources or related field preferred
  • strong working knowledge of personal computing including ADP, Windows, Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills
  • ability to work with limited supervision
  • high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • ability to exercise good judgment and make responsible decisions
  • ability to exercise discretion and high levels of confidentiality and personal integrity
  • valid driver’s license
  • self-starter with team player attitude and strong work ethic

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • prepares and conducts new employee orientations both in-person and virtual
  • manages partnership with outside vendor for DOT files, random DOT drug screens, federal medical physicals and other DOT related tasks
  • provides human resource guidance to supervisors and managers
  • acts as a backup to recruiters in conducting phone screens, scheduling interviews, pre-employment physicals and running MVRs
  • maintains personnel and medical files
  • assists with leave management form control and communication
  • processes employee status changes
  • acts as a backup to HR Manager to report workers injuries to workers compensation insurance provider
  • assists in wage and benefit surveys and performs special projects to enhance HR services
