Job Description

Landing has established itself as the largest flexible living network in the United States since its inception in 2019. Operating in over 35 markets with thousands of apartments, Landing offers a unique accommodation experience focusing on convenience and flexibility, eliminating the hassle of deposits and lengthy contracts. The company thrives in an environment that reflects the dynamic nature of real-world operations, where priorities shift rapidly and no two days are alike. This fast-paced setting demands adaptive leadership and innovative operational strategies, ensuring that guests and members experience the highest quality of service consistently.

As a regional leadership position within Landing, the role entails overseeing General Hospitality Managers across multiple markets. This leadership capacity is pivotal in setting the standard for member experience, maintaining property quality, ensuring housekeeping excellence, and driving superior operational execution. Reporting directly to the Regional Field Director, the successful candidate will act as a vital link between market-level management and corporate leadership, overseeing the execution of company strategies while fostering career growth among management teams. This position requires a seasoned leader with multi-unit hospitality management expertise, accustomed to managing diverse teams and driving performance in multiple locations.

The incumbent will manage a team of General Managers responsible for day-to-day operations across Landing's platform and its online travel agency partners such as Airbnb and Booking.com. The role involves owning key performance indicators (KPIs) such as Net Promoter Score (NPS), Customer Satisfaction (CSAT), cleaning quality, growth metrics, and controlling market-related expenses. Additionally, the regional leader will oversee relationships with housekeeping teams and property partners, ensuring that all properties are maintained to the highest standards. The candidate will also support new property installation and onboarding processes, contributing directly to Landing's growth and market expansion.

Landing's culture values leaders who develop their teams while holding them accountable, possess strong decision-making skills even with incomplete information, and build effective operational systems. This role promises ownership over outcomes rather than mere processes, allowing the regional leader to shape and implement the playbook alongside their teams. Communication with executive leadership includes weekly performance reporting, highlighting operational successes and challenges.

The position requires a commitment to availability beyond standard business hours since the role is guest-facing. This includes evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs dictate, especially during peak periods such as month-end and high-volume check-in times. Travel is an essential component of this role, with an expectation of approximately 50% travel to various markets, facilitating direct oversight and engagement with local teams and properties.

Landing offers a competitive compensation package with a base salary ranging from $75,000 to $90,000 depending on experience, complemented by a performance bonus of up to 20% of the base salary. Additional benefits include stock options, a comprehensive benefits package covering medical, dental, vision, life insurance, accidental death and dismemberment (AD&D), disability, mental health resources, pet insurance, commuter benefits, and flexible spending or health savings accounts. Retirement support is provided through a 401(k) plan coupled with access to ImmediatePay. The company fosters career development with upward mobility opportunities mainly through internal promotions and maintains a generous paid time off policy to support work-life balance. A unique travel perk offers $750 USD annually in Landing Stays.

Landing values diversity and is an equal opportunity employer. The company ensures all qualified applicants will receive consideration without discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy), sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, genetic information, military service, or any other protected status under federal, state, or local laws.
