This full-time, exempt position is based at the corporate headquarters in Nampa, Idaho, offering a competitive salary range of $120,000 to $125,000 annually. Reporting to the Head of HR, the HR Manager for Stores and Corporate will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the human resources strategy that supports both retail store operations and corporate departments. This role demands a hands-on leadership approach coupled with strategic thinking, as the HR Manager will work closely with senior leadership, payroll, benefits, and operational teams to drive business performance and foster a culture of high performance throughout the organization.
The HR Manager will be responsible for comprehensive oversight of compensation analysis, employee relations, policy development, workforce reporting, and ensuring compliance with multi-state employment laws and regulations. This position requires a delicate balance between managing day-to-day human resources functions and implementing innovative HR initiatives that enhance employee engagement and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will be adept at presenting well-founded business cases, supported by cost analysis and implementation plans, to senior leadership. They will also be instrumental in supervising the development of the HR team as the organization grows. The role is critical to aligning HR priorities with business objectives while ensuring full adherence to legal and company standards across all retail locations and corporate divisions.

Job Requirements
- bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or related field
- at least 7 years of progressive HR experience including 3 years supporting multi-state retail, manufacturing, or distributed workforce
- experience managing compensation programs including benchmarking, market analysis, and budget alignment
- strong employee relations skills including workplace investigations and performance management
- working knowledge of federal and state employment laws including FMLA, ADA, FLSA, OSHA, and Title VII
- proficiency with ADP
- ability to develop HR proposals with business justification and cross-functional alignment
Job Qualifications
- at least 7 years of progressive HR experience including 3 years supporting multi-state retail, manufacturing, or distributed workforce
- experience managing compensation programs including benchmarking and budget alignment
- strong employee relations experience including workplace investigations and performance management
- demonstrated ability to translate workforce data into actionable recommendations
- experience developing HR proposals requiring business justification and cross-functional alignment
- working knowledge of federal and multi-state employment requirements including FMLA, ADA, FLSA, OSHA, and Title VII
- proficiency with ADP

Job Duties
- serve as the primary HR business partner for retail store operations and corporate departments
- lead the compensation review process including market benchmarking, budget modeling, and written recommendations
- manage employee relations matters such as investigations, disciplinary actions, and performance management
- develop and maintain HR policies and standard operating procedures for a multi-state retail environment
- monitor and support compliance with federal and state employment laws including wage and hour, leave, anti-discrimination, and workplace safety
- present HR process improvements and initiatives with business cases, cost analysis, and implementation plans
- partner with payroll and benefits teams on compensation changes, onboarding, and offboarding
- prepare regular reports and analysis on headcount, turnover, compensation trends, and workforce metrics
- collaborate with senior leadership to align HR priorities with business objectives
- provide direct supervision and support to HR staff
