Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or related field
  • Proven experience in human resources management in a hospitality setting
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and labor relations

  • Ability to develop and implement HR strategies and policies
  • Proficiency with HR and payroll software
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive situations professionally

Job Duties

  • Support day to day human resources processes and assist Director in strategy implementation
  • Coach and counsel recruits while hiring and retaining top talent
  • Maintain and administer celebrations, reward and recognition programs, and training strategies
  • Act as liaison between hotel staff and ownership
  • Facilitate open employee communications and address grievances appropriately
  • Oversee employee relations and labor matters ensuring legal compliance
  • Administer employment, payroll, wage, salary, benefits, OSHA, ERISA, ADA, and incentive programs
  • Manage termination processes and unemployment compensation
