Job Description
Our client is a prominent and growing organization operating nationwide in the senior living industry. Dedicated to providing exceptional care and support to seniors, this company has established itself as a leader in the hospitality sector, emphasizing culture, purpose, and integrity in every aspect of its operation. With a commitment to fostering an inclusive and enriching work environment, the organization values passionate professionals who are eager to contribute positively to the community and support long-term growth. With a multi-state presence, this company offers stability, flexibility, and a collaborative environment for employees to thrive.
The role offered is a senior-level Human Resources Director position designed for an experienced HR executive who excels at the junction of strategy and culture. This hands-on, values-driven leadership opportunity demands a leader ready to influence the enterprise widely by developing and executing comprehensive HR strategies aligned with business growth and operational objectives. As an HR Director, the successful candidate will serve as a trusted strategic advisor to senior leadership, spearheading initiatives around organizational design, succession planning, and leadership development to enhance performance and prepare the organization for long-term success. This role is pivotal in reinforcing the company's core values and ensuring HR programs support quality outcomes, foster effective leadership, and drive operational excellence across the organization.
The responsibilities of this position include overseeing talent acquisition strategies, employee engagement, performance management, and compliance efforts across a broad geographic scope. Managing recruiting and onboarding processes, benefits administration, payroll oversight, and policy implementation will be key components of the day-to-day duties. Data-driven insights and workforce metrics will inform decisions related to retention, risk management, and continuous improvement, with a relentless focus on building stability and sustainable growth. The ideal candidate will balance strong emotional intelligence, sound judgment, and confidence in partnership with executive leadership. They must embody a people-centric approach to leadership, combined with sharp business acumen, clear communication skills, and a strong sense of accountability.
Adaptability and strategic thinking are essential in this role, alongside the ability to lead change in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. A comfort with data analytics, workforce planning, and operational alignment will enable the HR Director to make impactful contributions. Though primarily a remote position with flexibility to work from home, occasional onsite presence at the Eugene office in Oregon will be necessary for meetings and events. This flexibility makes the role ideal for candidates based in Portland or Eugene seeking a balanced and influential leadership career in human resources.
This senior HR leadership role offers a competitive salary ranging from $165,000 to $180,000, reflecting the experience and strategic importance of the position within the organization. Additionally, the company provides a robust benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, a 401(k) retirement plan, and paid holidays, supporting employees' health, financial security, and work-life balance. This opportunity presents an exciting chance for a seasoned HR professional to shape culture, lead transformative initiatives, and drive enterprise-wide impact with a forward-thinking senior living organization.
