This permanent part-time position offers an engaging role in upcoming sports and music events, including the flagship Freedom Over Texas festival at Eleanor Tinsley Park, one of Houston's largest annual celebrations. As an Event Staff or Security Officer, the role focuses on ensuring the safety, comfort, and positive experience of all clients, guests, and colleagues throughout the event. Responsibilities involve enforcing the integrity of both public and private spaces, monitoring entry and exit points, conducting routine security inspections such as bag searches and ticket verification to prevent prohibited items, and providing clear guidance and assistance to attendees for seating and services. The position demands a proactive approach to managing access routes, handling patron complaints in line with company policies, enforcing event guidelines, and identifying suspicious behaviors to maintain a secure environment.

The role requires employees to be calm and level-headed, particularly in high-pressure scenarios, as there is the potential need to assist with orderly evacuation procedures in case of emergencies and provide security escorts as required by the event.
