Marriott International is committed to diversity, equal opportunity employment, and fostering an inclusive environment where associates from all backgrounds can thrive and contribute their talents. Being part of W Hotels means joining a dynamic, worldwide team where personal growth and professional excellence are highly valued.
This part-time, non-management Housekeeping and Laundry position offers a competitive pay rate of $28.21 per hour. The role is crucial in maintaining the pristine condition of guest rooms and common areas to ensure guests have an exceptional stay. A Guest Environment Expert at W Hotels is more than just a cleaner—they are empowered professionals responsible for a variety of cleaning functions and other tasks necessary to uphold the hotel’s standards and deliver exceptional guest experiences.
In this role, flexibility in availability is preferred to meet the needs of the hotel. The Guest Environment Expert will actively engage in tasks such as responding to guest requests, replenishing cleaning carts, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the property. Physical activity is an important aspect, including standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, and placing objects weighing less than 50 pounds without assistance. The successful candidate must perform these tasks with precision and a strong commitment to quality and safety.
Apart from cleaning tasks, the role requires adherence to company guidelines, maintaining confidentiality, following safety protocols, and presenting a professional appearance and communication style at all times. This ensures a safe and welcoming workplace that supports the well-being of both employees and guests. The work environment is fast-paced and varied, providing opportunities for employees to utilize their skills in different areas and contribute meaningfully to the hospitality experience.
Employees at W Hotels benefit from a range of perks including access to a 401(k) plan, stock purchase plans, employee travel discounts, childcare discounts, and an employee assistance program. While this position is part-time and not eligible for the full suite of medical benefits reserved for full-time staff, Washington state employees also accrue paid sick leave, PTO, and are eligible for holiday pay.
Joining W Hotels means being part of a culturally rich workplace that celebrates diversity and innovation. Employees are encouraged to bring their unique, original ideas and embrace the future possibilities that arise in a progressive hospitality environment. If you are passionate about creating memorable guest experiences and thrive in a dynamic, service-oriented setting, this opportunity as a Guest Environment Expert at W Hotels in Bellevue is an excellent fit. The position not only allows you to do your best work but also aligns with Marriott’s purpose of building careers and teams that reflect the very best in hospitality.
