Job Requirements

  • Basic reading, writing and math skills
  • some housekeeping experience preferred
  • ability to carry or lift items weighing up to 75 pounds
  • ability to push and/or pull approximately 300 pounds
  • ability to stand for extended periods
  • ability to frequently bend, stoop, and kneel
  • flexibility to work varying shifts including weekends, evenings, and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Basic reading, writing, and math skills
  • some housekeeping experience preferred
  • ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 75 pounds and pushing or pulling approximately 300 pounds
  • ability to stand, move, bend, stoop, and kneel frequently
  • strong attention to detail
  • good communication and customer service skills

Job Duties

  • Assist room attendants on assigned floors
  • collect dirty linens and transport to laundry area
  • deliver fresh linens to room attendant carts throughout the day
  • assist with stripping linens from rooms and/or cleaning public areas
  • deliver and retrieve items requested by guests and housekeeping staff
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of floor closets and vending areas
  • clean designated public areas such as restrooms, vending areas, and storage rooms
