Job Description
Our establishment is a reputable hotel dedicated to providing exceptional guest experiences through a clean, welcoming, and well-maintained environment. We are currently looking for a hands-on, dynamic individual to join our team as a Houseperson/Laundry PM. This role is crucial in upholding the cleanliness and appearance standards of the hotel while providing exemplary service to guests in a timely and friendly manner. The position involves a variety of tasks including cleaning and maintaining public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, stairwells, outdoor areas, and parking lots. In addition, the Houseperson/Laundry PM is responsible for deep cleaning assigned areas and setting up and maintaining complimentary hotel lobby functions like coffee and water service.
The role also includes cleaning and setting up meeting function rooms, assisting with the delivery and restocking of housekeeping stations, and supporting room attendants by supplying clean linens, towels, and guest supplies as needed. Responsibilities extend to stripping linens, removing trash from guest rooms, and maintaining organized equipment and storage areas. Delivery of service items to guest rooms upon request from the front desk and assisting with laundry as needed are other essential duties. The position requires availability during Sunday and Monday nights from 3 pm to 11 pm with a flexible schedule. Additional duties include assisting with maintenance work orders and performing other tasks as assigned or necessary. Job Duties
- Cleaning and maintaining the appearance of the public areas of the hotel including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, stairwells, outdoor area, and parking lots
- Deep cleaning of assigned areas
- Setting up and maintaining the complimentary hotel lobby functions including coffee service and water service
- Cleaning and setting up meeting functions rooms
- Assist with the delivery and restocking housekeeping stations
- Collect and dispose of trash and recyclables throughout the property including outdoor spaces and parking lot
- Support room attendants by supplying clean linens, towels, and guest supplies as needed
- Support room attendants by stripping linens and removing trash from guest rooms as needed
- Maintain equipment and storage areas in an organized manner
- Delivering service items to guest rooms upon request from the front desk
- Assist with laundry as needed
- Must be available SUN and MON nights 3pm to 11pm, flexible schedule
- Assist with maintenance work orders
- Perform other duties as assigned or needed
