The Housekeeping House-person role at Hyatt is integral to the maintenance and cleanliness of the hotel, crucial in ensuring that guests enjoy a pristine and inviting atmosphere. This position is responsible for managing housekeeping supplies, including stocking and inventory, which supports the smooth operation of housekeeping services. The role involves deep cleaning of guest rooms and assisting room attendants with handling linens, making it a hands-on, fast-paced job that requires physical stamina and attention to detail. The Housekeeping House-person plays a significant role in upholding the hotel's hygiene standards and operational efficiency.

This seasonal position offers an hourly wage of $21.50 and is expected to continue until approximately September 7th, 2026. Candidates must be adaptable, able to work flexible shifts including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and recognized holidays. A successful candidate is expected to work independently with minimal supervision while being an excellent team player, demonstrating a positive and helpful attitude. Physical fitness is essential as the role requires lifting up to 50 pounds and performing movements such as bending, squatting, leaning, and rotating. Strong organizational and communication skills are necessary to manage tasks effectively and coordinate with team members. Previous experience in housekeeping within hotels, resorts, cruise ships, or offices is advantageous, particularly familiarity with systems like HotSOS or Rex.
