Job Requirements
- possess a willingness to learn on the job
- ability to work quickly and efficiently under time constraints
- familiarity with using commercial cleaning chemicals
- possess good organizational and prioritization skills
- able to work independently and with others
- must be able to push, pull, lift and carry 25 pounds
- ability to walk, bend, climb, kneel, and extend reach to complete assigned tasks
- able to work a flexible schedule
Job Qualifications
- 1 plus years of prior general housekeeping experience
- 1 plus years of prior hotel housekeeping experience highly desirable
- excellent communication skills in English for teamwork collaboration
- bilingual communication skills in Spanish preferred but not required
Job Duties
- Ensure the standard room set-up is in compliance with company standards
- sanitize and clean all room surfaces including pictures, electronics, appliances, and furniture
- vacuum and mop all floors to ensure no debris remain
- restock all room amenities
- properly maintain workstations by stocking sheets, towels, amenities
- perform light laundry duty such as folding towels and sheets
- clean common spaces including Breakfast Room and Administrative Room
- assist hotel staff with additional cleaning chores when needed
- complete daily housekeeping reports and turn in pass key daily
- respond to and follow up on guest requests to ensure customer satisfaction
- ensure systems and procedures are followed for guest safety and security
