Job Description

Our establishment is a prominent hotel known for delivering exceptional guest experiences through meticulous attention to cleanliness and customer service. We pride ourselves on maintaining a welcoming and orderly environment that enhances guest satisfaction and loyalty. As part of our dedicated team, we focus on creating a comfortable and pristine atmosphere that encourages repeat visits and positive word-of-mouth recommendations. This is achieved through a combination of employee dedication, effective training programs, and a commitment to our mission and values.

The role of House Attendant is integral to the smooth operation of our housekeeping department and overall guest satisfaction. House Attendants serve as the backbone of our operation by maintaining organized and orderly operations throughout the facility. This role supports the housekeeping team by performing "heavy" work that assists Room Attendants, directly contributing to the efficient turnover of rooms and maximizing the hotel's revenue potential. Since this position has a direct impact on the guests' perception of cleanliness and overall experience, the House Attendant plays a crucial role in shaping customer satisfaction and the hotel's reputation.

The House Attendant is responsible for detailed cleaning of both front and back public areas, ensuring all spaces are spotless and inviting. This role requires the ability to handle emergency cleaning requests promptly and efficiently, as well as performing deep cleaning tasks such as caring for drapery, carpets, wallpaper, and vents. Supporting housekeepers with delivering supplies and guest requests, as directed by communication tools like HotSOS, is a critical aspect of the job. Additionally, the House Attendant must maintain adequate inventory levels in housekeeping closets and service areas, including stocking linens on all floors to ensure readiness for daily operations.

This position involves working both morning and afternoon or evening shifts, with regular weekend hours and scheduled holidays aligned with business requirements. The role demands physical stamina, as it includes mobility on feet throughout the shift and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Communication tools such as iPod Touches or radios are used to coordinate duties effectively. Teamwork and collaboration are essential, as the House Attendant works closely with other housekeeping staff and supervisors to fulfill assigned duties and special projects.

Ultimately, the House Attendant contributes significantly to the hotel’s mission and values by embodying personalized service that exceeds guest expectations. Delivering clean and fresh accommodations alongside "the unexpected" in service creates lasting guest impressions and builds loyalty that secures repeat visits. This opportunity is ideal for individuals who thrive in an active, team-oriented environment and who value making a positive impact on guests’ experiences and the hospitality industry at large.
