Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in housekeeping or a similar role preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand and be mobile for entire shift
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to perform repetitive motions such as pulling, pushing, and bending
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Basic proficiency in English is preferred
- Willingness to work morning, afternoon, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma, general education degree or international equivalent preferred
- Fluency of the English language is strongly preferred
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Effective verbal communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to be mobile on feet for entire shift
- Ability to perform repetitive motions such as pulling, pushing, and bending for extended periods of time
- Ability to work as part of a team and in a group setting
- Must be able to listen to instructions and read memos, short correspondences, and messages
Job Duties
- Provide detailed cleaning to public areas both back and front of house
- Provide coverage for public space cleaning shifts as needed
- Maintain adequate supplies in housekeeping closets, cages, and service areas
- Stock rooms linen on all floors in service areas and ensure adequate supply
- Support housekeepers, deliver supplies and guest requests as directed by HotSOS
- Support housekeepers in cleaning and turnover of guest rooms
- Handle emergency cleaning requests
- Perform room deep cleaning including drapery, carpet spotting, wallpaper, and vents
- Responsible for practicing, managing, and promoting our mission and values so that it becomes an intricate part of the everyday operation
- Complete any duties and projects as assigned by department managers or supervisors
