The hotel prides itself on crafting a unique and memorable environment where every guest feels valued and cared for. Embodying the luxury lifestyle, Thompson Seattle focuses on attention to detail and a guest-centric approach, striving to exceed expectations through dedicated team members who are passionate about hospitality. The establishment is committed to nurturing a supportive atmosphere where colleagues can grow, excel, and provide service that reflects the highest standards of the industry.
Currently, Thompson Seattle is seeking a detail-oriented and guest-focused Housekeeping Houseperson to join its dynamic housekeeping team. This full-time, hourly position plays a crucial role in supporting the department by maintaining cleanliness, organization, and operational efficiency across guest floors, storage areas, and public spaces. The Housekeeping Houseperson ensures that guest areas are kept impeccable by delivering linens, towels, and supplies, removing soiled linens and trash, and assisting with heavy cleaning tasks. This role requires dependability and proactivity, as well as a commitment to the seamless, luxury experience that the hotel is known for. The position offers a rewarding environment where team members contribute directly to guest satisfaction and overall hotel excellence.
This role also provides comprehensive benefits after 30 days of employment, including medical, dental, and vision insurance for full-time employees. Additionally, the Housekeeping Houseperson will enjoy participation in a 401k retirement savings plan, basic life insurance, short term disability coverage, and paid time off programs such as vacation accrual starting on the first day of service, sick leave in compliance with Seattle's Paid Sick and Safe Time Ordinance, extended illness days, and holiday pay. Thompson Seattle supports personal and professional development through perks including tuition reimbursement, employee assistance programs, colleague discounted rates, complimentary room nights, and flexible spending accounts. The starting hourly wage is competitive at $25.87, with incremental increases after 90 days and additional pay rates for long-term colleagues who reach five, seven, and ten consecutive years of service. These rates recognize and reward dedication and ongoing commitment to the hotel.
Joining Thompson Seattle as a Housekeeping Houseperson means becoming part of a team that values meticulous care, efficiency, and creating positive guest experiences in a luxury setting. This opportunity is ideal for individuals who are reliable, proactive, and ready to contribute to a well-respected hospitality brand where every interaction reflects quality and warmth.
