The company is recognized repeatedly on the World's Best Workplaces by Great Place to Work and Fortune, a testament to its commitment to a supportive and inclusive environment for its team members.
At Hilton, the Houseperson role is an integral part of ensuring the cleanliness and comfort of the hotel's public areas. As a Houseperson, you will be responsible for maintaining the hygiene and appearance of designated spaces throughout the hotel, such as restrooms, hallways, stairwells, elevators, offices, and event venues. Your role is more than just cleaning; it involves creating memorable experiences by delivering warmth and outstanding hospitality to every guest encounter.
The position requires a flexible schedule, including morning, evening, overnight, weekend, and holiday shifts, to keep the hotel's public areas spotless and guest-ready at all times. This flexible pattern ensures that the hotel operates smoothly around the clock, and every guest receives the best service possible. The ideal candidate possesses previous housekeeping experience in a hotel environment, between six months to a year, and demonstrates the ability to thrive in a dynamic, team-oriented setting.
Key responsibilities include performing daily cleaning tasks such as dusting, polishing furniture, vacuuming, mopping floors, washing windows, and emptying trash. Beyond routine duties, the Houseperson also manages supply rooms to support housekeeping efficiency, handles special projects including deep cleaning and moving furniture, and supports property maintenance by identifying repair needs or maintenance issues.
Hilton's core values encompass hospitality, integrity, leadership, teamwork, ownership, and a proactive mindset toward creating impactful moments. These values are fundamental not only in guest interactions but also in fostering a positive, collaborative work environment. Team members are considered the heart of Hilton's success, and their wellbeing is a priority for the company.

This includes incredible travel perks with access to deeply discounted room rates at Hilton properties worldwide through the Go Hilton travel program, stock purchase opportunities at a discount to build financial security, paid parental leave, and personalized caregiving support. Additionally, Hilton provides crisis concierge services, mental health resources including free counseling through an Employee Assistance Program (EAP), generous paid time off, and extensive health and welfare benefits to cover a variety of medical needs.
The company’s dedication to nurturing its team members extends to a career path that offers growth and development opportunities.
