This prestigious hotel company is celebrated for its award-winning workplace culture, consistently recognized as one of the World’s Best Workplaces by Great Place to Work and Fortune. Hilton prides itself on its suite of world-class hotel brands and its company-wide dedication to providing exceptional guest experiences. Joining Hilton means becoming part of a legacy that values integrity, leadership, teamwork, ownership, and a sense of urgency to make every moment count. At Hilton, the commitment to hospitality goes beyond guests—it extends passionately to the well-being and career growth of its Team Members.
As a Houseperson General Cleaner at Hilton, you'll play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall guest experience throughout the hotel. Your daily tasks will involve keeping public areas pristine, such as restrooms, hallways, stairwells, elevators, offices, and event spaces. You’ll be responsible for dusting, polishing furniture, vacuuming, mopping floors, washing windows, and emptying trash, ensuring every corner is spotless. But your role doesn’t stop at cleaning; it’s about creating memorable experiences that brighten guests' days with warmth and hospitality. Greeting guests warmly, delivering requested items, and assisting with room cleaning when needed will make you a visible and crucial part of the guest experience.
In addition to routine cleaning, you will manage housekeeping supplies, organizing supply rooms to promote efficiency and smooth operation. You’ll also handle special projects like deep cleaning tasks, including flipping mattresses, moving furniture, and waxing floors. Your keen eye for detail will help identify and report repair needs or maintenance issues to keep the property in excellent condition. Hilton encourages ownership and accountability in every Team Member, meaning your contributions directly affect the quality and reputation of the hotel.
Working at Hilton means thriving in a culture rich with support and benefits. The company invests deeply in the well-being of its Team Members, offering outstanding perks like deeply discounted travel through the Go Hilton travel program, a generous employee stock purchase plan, paid parental leave, personalized caregiving support, crisis concierge services, mental health resources, paid time off, and comprehensive health and welfare benefits. Hilton’s retirement plans add an additional layer of financial security, helping Team Members prepare for their future. Benefits may vary depending on location and employment terms, but the commitment to employee care is unwavering.
Joining Hilton means more than just a job; it’s about building a career in an environment that inspires and supports your growth. Whether you are starting your journey or looking to explore new opportunities in hospitality, Hilton offers a platform for success where you can be part of crafting exceptional stays for guests while developing your professional skills. Hilton invites you to join their team and contribute to their mission of delivering unparalleled hospitality experiences and cultivating a workplace culture that values every individual’s contribution.
