Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in event setup or hospitality preferred
  • good communication skills
  • physical ability to lift moderate weight
  • willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • ability to work in a fast paced environment

Job Qualifications

  • A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment
  • ability to stand for long periods of time
  • ability to regularly lift, push, and pull a heavy amount of weight
  • fulfill a flexible schedule and shift pattern based upon hotel business needs, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, overnights, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Set up meeting spaces with tables, chairs, and water
  • break down meeting spaces after events
  • communicate effectively with team members and event staff
  • lift and move moderate weight regularly
  • maintain cleanliness and organization in event areas
  • respond promptly to event setup and breakdown needs
  • follow safety protocols during setup and breakdown
