The Houseperson - Events at Hyatt plays a crucial role in ensuring the flawless execution of events by managing the setup and breakdown of all meeting spaces. Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in hospitality or event setup preferred
  • strong communication skills
  • physical ability to lift moderate weights
  • flexibility to work varied shifts
  • ability to work in a fast paced environment

Job Qualifications

  • a true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment
  • ability to stand for long periods of time
  • ability to regularly lift, push, and pull a heavy amount of weight
  • fulfill a flexible schedule including early mornings, late nights, weekends, overnights, and holidays

Job Duties

  • set up meeting spaces with tables, chairs, and water stations
  • break down meeting spaces after events
  • communicate effectively with team members and event staff
  • lift and move moderate to heavy equipment
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of event areas
  • follow safety protocols during setup and teardown
  • support event coordinators as needed
