Duties include cleaning restrooms, hallways, elevators, stairwells, offices, and event spaces with tasks such as dusting, polishing furniture, vacuuming, mopping floors, washing windows, and managing trash disposal. Beyond maintenance, the Houseperson plays a pivotal role in direct guest interaction by greeting guests warmly, assisting with room cleaning requests, and delivering needed items.
In addition to routine cleaning, the role demands managing housekeeping supplies by stocking and organizing supply rooms efficiently to support seamless operations. Special projects such as deep cleaning through mattress flipping, furniture moving, and floor waxing require physical effort and attention to detail. The Houseperson is also tasked with inspecting areas for repair or maintenance needs and reporting these promptly, contributing to the overall safety and quality of the property.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial work preferred
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, moving, and standing for extended periods
- Available to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
- Ability to follow safety procedures and hotel policies
