The Houseperson Associate position at Hilton Garden Inn Burbank Downtown represents a pivotal role in the housekeeping department, reporting directly to the Housekeeping Supervisor. Hilton Garden Inn Burbank Downtown is a stylish, full-service hotel situated in the vibrant heart of downtown Burbank, California. This location offers guests proximity to major attractions in the entertainment industry such as Warner Bros. Studios, NBC Studios, and Universal Studios Hollywood. The hotel features comfortable guest rooms and suites with modern amenities like complimentary WiFi, HDTVs, an outdoor heated pool and whirlpool, a fitness center, and versatile event spaces ideal for weddings and business meetings.
As a Houseperson Associate, you will be entrusted with maintaining cleanliness and ensuring a welcoming environment for all guests. Your daily tasks will involve stocking housekeeping carts efficiently with necessary supplies to prepare for your shifts, reporting any room maintenance issues to front desk staff and team members, and distinguishing between light touch and full cleaning methods to uphold Hilton’s high standards of guest room cleanliness. Responsibilities include vacuuming floors, changing bed linens, replenishing bathroom amenities, and overall room restocking. The role demands physical stamina, as it often requires standing, walking, bending, lifting, and squatting for extended periods. Professionalism is critical; you are expected to maintain a neat, pressed uniform and wear safety footwear and protective equipment to comply with hotel policies and safety standards.
This full-time position offers competitive hourly pay ranging from $17.00 to $18.00, with shifts available in mornings or afternoons. Job Duties
- Stock housekeeping cart with all necessary supplies to plan your day efficiently
- report room maintenance to the front desk staff and other team members
- know the difference between light touch and full clean and know how to complete both effectively
- vacuum floors, change sheets, restock, and replace all room and bath amenities
- maintain a professional appearance including a pressed uniform, employee identification, safety footwear, and protective equipment
