Known for its entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to building high-performing teams, InnVentures has developed proven methods in hotel management, development, and revenue maximization. This strategic approach has made them a trusted leader in operating major hotel brands while maintaining a strong culture centered on collaboration and results-driven success.
The opportunity to join InnVentures as a House Person at the Homewood Suites in Windsor Locks, Connecticut, offers a unique chance to contribute to a company that values innovation and team synergy. The House Person role is vital in ensuring guests experience the comfort and hospitality that make a hotel feel like home. This position involves providing comprehensive housekeeping support by maintaining cleanliness and organization in public areas, responding promptly and courteously to guest needs, and supporting other hotel departments to foster a welcoming atmosphere. The role requires excellent interpersonal skills, attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
InnVentures supports its employees with a competitive benefits package that includes group insurance coverage (medical, dental, vision, and company-paid life insurance), paid time off, a company-matched 401(k) plan, voluntary benefits such as disability and accident insurance, life enrichment programs featuring hotel benefits and leadership development, and the opportunity to get paid daily. The company encourages employees to enhance their health and well-being through these comprehensive benefits, fostering a positive workplace culture where employees feel valued and supported.
The House Person plays a critical role in maintaining the high standards of the Homewood Suites hotel by performing essential housekeeping duties such as cleaning public bathrooms and meeting rooms, managing trash collection, assisting guests with a friendly demeanor, and supporting the maintenance team. This role requires physical endurance, including standing and walking for entire shifts, and performing tasks that involve bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying up to 25 pounds. Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is necessary due to the continuous nature of hotel operations.
Being part of InnVentures means joining a company that champions team collaboration and provides ongoing opportunities for professional growth and development. The House Person is more than a support role; it is an ambassador position that directly impacts guest experiences, hotel cleanliness, and overall satisfaction. Candidates can expect to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment that values dedication, reliability, and a positive attitude. InnVentures' commitment to its employees' growth, welfare, and recognition reflects why it remains a leader in the hotel management industry.
