The available position is a full-time, non-management overnight porter role within the Rooms and Guest Services Operations category. This role is crucial to the smooth functioning and ultimate success of the hotel. Porters at The Ritz-Carlton play an essential supporting role across multiple departments including housekeeping, engineering, banquets, restaurants, and front desk, ensuring that guests and staff receive what they need exactly when and where they need it. Whether assisting with delivering items directly to guest rooms or supporting various hotel operations, porters are central to providing the seamless, high-end guest experience that The Ritz-Carlton is famous for.

Successful candidates will work on their feet, moving, lifting, and carrying various objects—up to 55 pounds—without assistance, navigating tight spaces, elevated areas, service stairways, and ramps. They should be comfortable handling physical tasks that include bending, reaching, kneeling, turning, stretching, and stooping while maintaining a professional demeanor and adhering to company policies, confidentiality, and quality standards. Uniform appearance and communication skills are a key aspect of professionalism expected from all porters.
