We are currently seeking a dedicated, energetic Houseperson to join our housekeeping team. This role is vital to ensuring all public areas of our hotels are impeccably maintained, contributing significantly to guest satisfaction. The Houseperson will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and pleasant ambiance of all hotel public spaces including restrooms, hallways, and stairwells. The position also involves interaction with guests, responding to inquiries and requests to enhance their experience. This full-time, hourly wage position offers $9 per hour and reports directly to the Operations/Rooms Manager or General Manager.

The Houseperson role requires a high level of physical activity, including the use of cleaning tools, chemicals, and manual labor to maintain hotel standards. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, effective communication, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Duties include cleaning bathrooms, dusting furniture and artwork, vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors. The Houseperson also manages the disposal of soiled linens and trash, removes spots and debris, polishes fixtures, and assists with guest room cleaning as needed.
