The Housekeeping team at EDITION Hotels plays a crucial role in maintaining the hotel's high standards of cleanliness, safety, and guest satisfaction. This non-management, full-time role offers an hourly pay range of $31.00 to $32.00 and is situated within a dynamic work environment in West Hollywood. The responsibilities of this Housekeeping role include promptly responding to guest requests and collaborating effectively with other departments to resolve issues in public areas and guest rooms. The incumbent is expected to identify potential maintenance problems and communicate urgent repair needs directly to the responsible teams. Moreover, maintaining safety by placing caution signs and ensuring that all cleaning equipment is properly maintained and stored is a key part of the job.
In this role, individuals will be required to manage the movement of items such as discarded materials, room-service trays, newspapers, linens, and trash from hallways to service areas, helping keep the hotel environment pristine and well-organized. The position demands physical agility, including bending, reaching, lifting items of up to 55 pounds independently and heavier loads with assistance, as well as navigating confined or uneven areas. Being able to operate or maneuver carts and other equipment across various surfaces is important.
Safety and professionalism are paramount. Employees must adhere strictly to company safety policies, report any hazards, accidents, or injuries immediately, and complete all necessary safety training and certification. A clean and professional appearance with a properly maintained uniform is required. Maintaining confidentiality of company information and protecting company property are integral to the role.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in housekeeping or related hospitality field preferred
- ability to quickly respond to guest requests
- physical ability to lift up to 55 pounds independently and assist with heavier loads
- ability to operate cleaning equipment safely
