The Houseman plays an essential role in maintaining and promoting the hotel's standards of hospitality by assisting in daily operational tasks. This includes providing courteous, efficient, and friendly guest service that aligns with our brand's reputation. The role requires attention to detail and physical stamina to ensure the cleanliness and readiness of guest rooms, hallways, banquet rooms, and public spaces. Besides assisting housekeeping attendants with linen removal and cleaning tasks, the Houseman is responsible for linen stripping and ensuring that all dirty textiles are properly managed and cleaned. Responsible for delivering requested amenities promptly, this role contributes significantly to the smooth running of housekeeping functions and overall guest satisfaction.

Moreover, the Houseman supports the banquet team by setting up and striking event spaces, including moving furniture and working closely with the Banquet Captain to facilitate successful function execution. Flexibility in work hours is necessary, as shifts may vary to accommodate hotel needs, including mornings, evenings, and weekends. The position demands physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and the willingness to cross-train, enhancing skillsets across departments. Safety adherence, especially regarding chemical use, is crucial and part of the daily operational responsibility.
