This position is a full-time, non-management role within the housekeeping and laundry category at Courtyard by Marriott Chicago Oakbrook Terrace. The hourly wage range is $16.00 to $16.50, and while the evening shift is preferred, open availability including weekends is highly desired to meet the dynamic needs of hotel operations. The role emphasizes more than just cleaning rooms and making beds; it focuses on building a comprehensive and memorable guest experience. Employees in this role, known as Guest Environment Experts, are entrusted with maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the entire hotel, including guest rooms and public spaces.

Guest Environment Experts are empowered to take initiative, handle guest requests, replenish cleaning carts, and address other responsibilities to ensure seamless hotel functionality. This position requires physical activity, including standing, sitting, and walking for extended periods, as well as safely moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, and placing objects under 50 pounds without assistance. Adherence to company policies, safety protocols, confidentiality, and the maintenance of professional appearance and communication standards are paramount.
