Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred but not required
- ability to work overnight shifts
- good physical stamina and ability to perform manual tasks
- strong attention to detail
- basic communication skills
Job Duties
- Respond promptly to guest and department requests
- identify and report preventive or maintenance issues in public areas or guest rooms
- place caution signs as needed
- contact other departments directly for urgent repairs
- organize and rearrange furniture in guest rooms as required
- remove items from hallways including waste, room service trays, unread newspapers, dirty linens, and trash near housekeeping carts
- clean, maintain, and store cleaning equipment
