We are currently seeking a dependable and diligent Houseman to join our dedicated housekeeping team. This role is integral to maintaining the pristine condition of public spaces and guest areas, contributing directly to the overall ambiance and satisfaction of our guests. The Houseman will be responsible for a variety of cleaning and support tasks, focusing on sanitation and guest service to uphold the hotel’s reputation for outstanding cleanliness and hospitality. This is a full-time position offering competitive compensation, with opportunities for professional growth within the hospitality industry. As a Houseman, the candidate must demonstrate physical endurance, a keen eye for detail, and strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and assist guests when needed. Working flexible shifts including mornings, afternoons, weekends, and holidays is expected to meet the operational demands of the hotel. This role presents an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about contributing to a positive guest experience in the dynamic field of hotel housekeeping.

Job Requirements

  • physical stamina: must be able to stand/walk for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds
  • attention to detail: ensuring all public spaces and rooms meet high cleanliness standards
  • communication: ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively with guests and staff
  • flexibility: working shifts, including mornings, afternoons, weekends, and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is preferred

Job Duties

  • Cleaning amp
  • sanitation: vacuuming hallways/public areas, cleaning restrooms, washing walls, and polishing furniture
  • support amp
  • logistics: collecting soiled linen from housekeeping carts and delivering fresh linens to guest floor closets
  • guest service: delivering guest requests (e.g., extra pillows, blankets) and assisting with luggage if needed
  • maintaining cleanliness standards of all public spaces
  • collaborating with housekeeping team to ensure efficient operations
