Job Requirements

  • Housekeeping or laundry services experience
  • Supervisory or leadership experience
  • Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally
  • Keen organizational skills and multitasking ability
  • Knowledge of infection control and sanitation procedures
  • Genuine care for elderly and disabled residents

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in housekeeping or laundry services, preferably in healthcare
  • Strong supervisory or leadership experience
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask effectively
  • Understanding of infection control and sanitation protocols
  • Compassionate and caring attitude toward elderly and disabled individuals

Job Duties

  • Lead the team by hiring, training, supervising, and evaluating housekeeping and laundry staff
  • Schedule department shifts aligned with census and labor budgets
  • Manage inventory and order supplies while maintaining budget controls
  • Perform and oversee mopping, dusting, vacuuming, polishing, and disinfecting
  • Conduct inspections to ensure sanitation, infection control, and cleanliness compliance
  • Provide instruction to staff on safe and effective cleaning and laundry procedures
  • Support daily operations including consistent linen delivery, personal laundry service, and organizing supply rooms
