Job Description

The hiring company is a healthcare-oriented facility that prioritizes creating a safe, sanitary, and welcoming environment for its residents, visitors, and staff. This commitment to quality care and comfort extends to every department with a strong emphasis on environmental services, particularly housekeeping and laundry operations. Recognized for its dedication to infection control, sanitation protocols, and compassionate care, the company stands out as a leading employer in long-term care services. It embraces diversity and equal opportunity employment, fostering an inclusive workplace free from discrimination and harassment based on race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability, genetics, veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity, or any other protected characteristic under law.

We are looking for a dependable and organized Housekeeping/Laundry Supervisor to join our Environmental Services team and lead daily operations that directly impact the cleanliness and hygiene standards across the facility. This is a full-time, supervisory role that requires strong leadership skills and attention to detail. As a Housekeeping/Laundry Supervisor, you will be essential in maintaining the facility’s image and ensuring that residents experience comfort and safety through pristine living spaces and properly managed laundry services.

In this role, your responsibilities will include hiring, supervising, and training housekeeping and laundry staff, developing schedules that align with resident census and labor budgets, and managing inventory and supply levels within budget constraints. You will actively oversee cleaning duties such as mopping, dusting, vacuuming, polishing, disinfecting, and conducting inspections to ensure compliance with sanitation and infection control protocols. You will also play a key role in staff training on safe and effective cleaning and laundry procedures. Your leadership will ensure consistent linen delivery, personal laundry services, and organized supply rooms, all contributing to a clean and efficient operation.

The ideal candidate will bring experience in housekeeping or laundry services, preferably in a healthcare or long-term care setting, coupled with proven supervisory or leadership capabilities. Excellent communication skills, organization, and the ability to multitask are crucial for success in this position. Understanding infection control and sanitation protocols is essential, as is genuine compassion for elderly and disabled individuals who rely on the facility’s services.

By joining us, you become part of a team that values professional growth, offering benefits such as tuition reimbursement, comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance, and valuable protections like AD&D and disability coverage. We also provide paid time off, retirement planning options through immediate 401(k) eligibility, and access to exceptional corporate resources that support employees' needs. We believe in rewarding dedication and supporting our team members’ career and personal well-being.
