Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience in janitorial or custodial roles
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Knowledge of safe cleaning practices and proper use of cleaning equipment
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to follow health and safety regulations
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience in cleaning roles such as janitorial or custodial positions
- Familiarity with commercial cleaning practices and industrial cleaning techniques is advantageous
- Knowledge of floor care methods including buffing and maintenance procedures is a plus
- Experience in facilities maintenance or porter roles will be beneficial
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently under minimal supervision
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to communicate clearly with team members and management
Job Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces
- Ensure that all cleaning supplies and equipment are used safely and effectively
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards
- Assist with floor care tasks such as buffing, waxing, and carpet cleaning as required
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages to management
- Provide support in residential painting and minor maintenance tasks when needed
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure high standards of cleanliness are met consistently
- Follow all health and safety regulations while performing duties
