Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous custodial or janitorial experience preferred
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods
- Commitment to maintaining cleanliness and safety standards
- Availability to work in person
- Excellent time management skills
Job Qualifications
- Previous custodial or janitorial experience preferred
- Experience in healthcare or hospital environments is a plus
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations related to workplace safety and chemical handling
- Familiarity with cleaning techniques including floor care, sanitation practices, and environmental services standards
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, carpet extractors, and floor scrubbers safely
- Strong attention to detail with excellent time management skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety at all times
Job Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, restrooms, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies
- Sanitize high-touch surfaces to ensure a hygienic environment in compliance with health standards and OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) guidelines
- Maintain floors through sweeping, mopping, buffing, or carpet cleaning to ensure safety and aesthetic appeal
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, towels, and cleaning products to ensure availability for guests and staff
- Follow established sanitation procedures to uphold environmental services standards and promote a healthy environment
- Conduct routine inspections to identify areas needing attention or repair, reporting issues promptly
- Adhere to safety protocols related to cleaning chemicals, equipment operation, and overall janitorial practices
