Job Requirements
- high school diploma or GED is required
- ability to effectively communicate with patients, staff and other members within the organization
- must be able to work every weekend for the first two years
- availability for evening shift 3 PM to 11:30 PM
- ability to work during inclement weather
- must comply with all infection prevention and safety policies

Job Duties
- clean and service Montefiore premises including office areas, ancillaries, patient care areas, perioperative units, critical care areas, emergency department, restrooms, corridors, stairways, and nursing areas
- adhere to infection prevention and environmental services policies and procedures
- demonstrate strong positive patient and customer service skills
- perform cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and waste disposal
- maintain a safe and sanitary environment in compliance with healthcare standards
- work essential hours including during inclement weather
- perform other related duties as required
