Job Requirements

  • Minimum 1-year housekeeping experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • Willingness to stand for 8-hour shifts
  • Ability to work indoors with hard and carpeted surfaces
  • Capability to perform physical activities such as stooping, kneeling, crouching and crawling
  • Specific vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and focus adjustment
  • Ability to work in varying weather conditions including cold and heat
  • Availability to work flexible schedules with Sundays off and no late shifts

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum 1-year housekeeping experience with knowledge of housekeeping and laundry procedures
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse team environment
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including part-time and full-time schedules

Job Duties

  • Maintain guest room cleanliness including cleaning bath/kitchen areas, vacuuming or washing floors, removing trash, dusting/polishing furnishings
  • Maintain outside room appearance by cleaning sliding doors, A/C grills, windows and removing trash from surrounding areas
  • Ensure all hotel areas meet company standards even if not specifically assigned
  • Visually inspect guest rooms, public areas and service areas for cleanliness and presentation quality
  • Notify supervisor immediately of any safety or security violations and any guest concerns
  • Operate housekeeping equipment and restock housekeeping cart supplies
  • Notify head housekeeper or supervisor when rooms are ready
  • Maintain superior customer service when interacting with guests
