Job Requirements

  • three months customer service experience preferred
  • experience in hospitality or health clubs is a plus
  • high school diploma or GED preferred
  • ability to communicate clearly and concisely both orally and in writing
  • strong organizational interpersonal and time-management skills
  • demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • must be able to work as part of a professional and cohesive team
  • ability to lift push pull and carry up to 50 pounds
  • ability to stand and walk for extended periods

Job Duties

  • Clean outside glass and interior mirrors
  • wipe down equipment, doors, and floors as needed
  • empty trash receptacles daily
  • sweep and mop floors, stairwells, and staircases
  • clean carpets and hard-surface floors as needed
  • clean fitness equipment thoroughly
  • clean bathrooms including tiles, tubs, walls, sinks, and mirrors
  • dust furniture and fixtures daily
  • clean management offices daily
  • mop and sweep lobby floors
  • sweep, mop, remove trash, and dust locker rooms
  • clean and sanitize restrooms and locker rooms including toilets, urinals, sinks, mirrors, showers, and floors
  • refill soap, paper towels, toilet paper
  • clean out lint and maintain general tidiness
  • buff locker and lobby room floors as needed
  • maintain and organize cleaning tools such as mops, brooms, and vacuum cleaners
  • ensure equipment is kept in good condition and stored properly
  • clean vacuum cleaner bags or canisters daily
  • stock carts with linens and supplies according to training guidelines
  • pick up debris on carpets and perform vacuuming as needed
  • report maintenance or repair issues promptly and accurately
  • collaborate professionally with gym staff and management
