Job Requirements
- minimum of three months experience in housekeeping or janitorial services
- three months customer service experience preferred
- experience in hospitality or health clubs is a plus
- high school diploma or GED preferred
- ability to communicate clearly and concisely both orally and in writing
- strong organizational, interpersonal, and time-management skills
- demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- must be able to work as part of a professional and cohesive team
- ability to lift, push, pull and carry up to 50 pounds
- ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- frequent bending, kneeling, reaching, twisting, and repetitive motions
- ability to push/pull cleaning carts and equipment
- exposure to cleaning chemicals, wet or slippery floors, humidity, and locker room environments
- use of personal protective equipment as required

Job Duties
- clean outside glass and interior mirrors
- wipe down equipment, doors, and floors as needed
- empty trash receptacles daily
- sweep and mop floors, stairwells, and staircases
- clean carpets and hard-surface floors as needed
- clean fitness equipment thoroughly
- clean bathrooms including tiles, tubs, walls, sinks, and mirrors
- dust furniture and fixtures daily
- clean management offices daily
- mop and sweep lobby floors
- sweep, mop, remove trash, and dust locker rooms
- clean and sanitize restrooms and locker rooms including toilets, urinals, sinks, mirrors, showers, and floors
- refill soap, paper towels, and toilet paper
- clean out lint and maintain general tidiness
- buff locker and lobby room floors as needed
- maintain and organize cleaning tools such as mops, brooms, and vacuum cleaners
- ensure equipment is kept in good condition and stored properly
- clean vacuum cleaner bags or canisters daily
- stock carts with linens and supplies, keeping them organized according to training guidelines
- pick up debris on carpets and perform vacuuming as needed
- report maintenance or repair issues accurately and promptly
- collaborate professionally with gym staff and management
