The role being offered is a Housekeeping Supervisor position within TownePlace Suites. This full-time role primarily involves overseeing the daily operations of the housekeeping department to ensure cleanliness, maintenance, and guest satisfaction standards are consistently met. The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for entering the status of rooms cleaned, completing checklists to monitor cleanliness and conditions, and accurately documenting housekeeping reports. A vital part of the role includes inspecting guest rooms after they have been cleaned by the housekeeping staff to ensure adherence to the brand's high standards.
In addition, this position requires responding promptly to guest and department requests, gaining access to rooms following established protocols, and ensuring vacant rooms are prepared and ready for occupancy. The supervisor will also assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching housekeeping employees while serving as a positive role model. Maintaining professional personal appearance and complying with company safety and security policies is critical in this function. The Housekeeping Supervisor must report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries and complete necessary safety training and certifications.
The role demands physical stamina and the ability to perform various tasks, including moving and lifting heavy objects, standing or walking for extended periods, bending and stooping, and maneuvering housekeeping carts and equipment across uneven surfaces. Proficient use of computers and point-of-sale systems for accessing work-related information is also essential. The position also calls for strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with guests, team members, supervisors, and other departments.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- At least 1 year of related work experience
- Ability to move, lift, and carry objects up to 55 pounds without assistance and heavier objects with assistance
- Ability to stand, sit, kneel, or walk for extended periods
- Ability to push and pull loaded housekeeping carts over uneven surfaces
- Ability to follow company safety and security policies
- Ability to communicate clearly with guests and team members
- Ability to complete safety training and certifications
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- At least 1 year of related work experience
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work extended periods standing or walking

Job Duties
- Enter status of rooms cleaned
- Complete checklists to report cleanliness and condition of each assigned area
- Complete required housekeeping paperwork
- Identify room assignments and type of cleaning required for each room
- Inspect guest rooms after being cleaned by housekeeper
- Respond promptly to requests from guests and other departments
- Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and motivating and coaching employees
