Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Enter the status of clean rooms on assignment sheets
  • complete cleaning checklists to report the cleanliness and condition of each assigned area
  • complete required housekeeping department paperwork
  • identify room assignments and the type of cleaning needed for each
  • inspect guest rooms after they have been cleaned by the room attendant
  • respond promptly to requests from guests and other departments
  • enter guest rooms following procedures to obtain access and ensure the room is unoccupied before entry
  • assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, coaching, disciplining, motivating, and training employees
  • comply with all company safety policies and procedures
  • report maintenance issues, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries
  • complete safety training and certifications
  • maintain a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance
  • protect company property and information
  • support coworkers and treat them with dignity and respect
  • help the team achieve common goals
  • meet quality assurance standards
  • move at the required speed to respond to work situations
  • inspect tools, equipment, or machines to identify defects
  • enter and locate job-related information using computers or point-of-sale systems
  • perform physical activities such as reaching, bending, kneeling, lifting, pushing, and pulling as required
  • communicate clearly and professionally with others
  • perform other reasonable job duties as assigned
