Job Description

Cru is a globally recognized Christian organization dedicated to spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ worldwide. With a longstanding history as a pioneer in world Christian missions, Cru is committed to fostering a faith-driven work environment where employees can integrate their spiritual beliefs with their professional roles. Located in Orlando, Florida, Cru Headquarters is a hub where talented individuals come together to use their God-given talents to serve a greater purpose and impact lives globally. The organization values teamwork, prayer, and spiritual growth as essential parts of its culture, encouraging every team member to contribute meaningfully to the Kingdom of God each day.

The role offered is a full-time position based onsite at the Orlando headquarters with a starting pay of $40,500 annually. This role focuses on building and managing a high-performing housekeeping team that supports the overall mission of Cru. The successful candidate will provide leadership by offering direction, delegation, counsel, and expertise to both individual team members and the team as a whole. Establishing clear expectations, objectives, and performance measures will be fundamental to this position, ensuring that the housekeeping function operates efficiently and effectively.

The role entails a strong emphasis on customer satisfaction, continuous process improvement, and strategic vendor management. This includes purchasing supplies, negotiating service contracts with vendors such as Waste Management and Supply World, and collaborating with leadership and US Finance teams for contract approvals. The Housekeeping Manager will also be responsible for budget development and oversight, monitoring monthly reports, and ensuring timely responses to housekeeping emergencies.

Coordination with other facilities teams like Customer Service and Security is crucial for seamless preparation for special functions and maintaining the safety standards of the workplace in line with OSHA and other legal requirements. The position also involves regular performance of custodial duties as needed, ensuring a hands-on approach by leadership.

At Cru, the offered role is not just a job but an opportunity to join a global movement that makes a lasting impact for Jesus. Employees benefit from a comprehensive compensation package that includes retirement plans with matching contributions, extensive healthcare coverage, paid time off, paid parental leave, life insurance, and spiritual growth opportunities. The work culture promotes collaboration, spiritual development, and meaningful contributions, fostering both personal and professional growth within a supportive environment. This position offers the chance to blend faith with work, making a daily contribution to a mission larger than oneself, while enjoying competitive pay and excellent benefits in a stable, purpose-driven organization.
