The Housekeeping Supervisor role at this Hyatt property plays a critical leadership position within the housekeeping department. The individual in this role will be responsible for supervising daily departmental operations, ensuring that guest rooms meet Hyatt’s high standards of cleanliness and comfort, and managing a team of housekeeping staff to deliver excellent service. This includes conducting room inspections, resolving guest complaints promptly and professionally, conducting interviews and counseling sessions with employees, and managing administrative tasks such as scheduling and reporting. To thrive in this role, candidates must bring at least one year of hotel experience coupled with excellent communication and basic computer skills. Job Duties
- Inspect guest rooms to ensure compliance with cleanliness and quality standards
- Counsel and interview housekeeping employees to address performance and development
- Resolve guest complaints related to housekeeping in a timely and professional manner
- Carry out general office duties including scheduling, reporting, and administrative support
- Manage staffing levels by preparing work schedules based on anticipated occupancy
- Support and coach associates to ensure adherence to brand and hotel standards
- Perform additional duties as requested by hotel management
