The Housekeeping Supervisor role at Trailhead Lodge is a hands-on leadership position essential to maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction that the lodge is known for. Reporting directly to the Facilities Maintenance Manager, the Supervisor will oversee daily housekeeping operations to ensure that guest rooms and public areas consistently meet brand standards and contribute to the overall guest experience. This role requires a candidate who thrives in a fast-paced lodging environment and excels at administrative organization, operational oversight, and team leadership. While the position does not manage overall departmental strategy, it involves critical execution responsibilities such as supervising 4 to 6 housekeeping team members, managing schedules, conducting quality inspections, handling team performance, and facilitating seamless communication between departments.

The Housekeeping Supervisor helps maintain daily productivity through detailed room inspections and quality checks to ensure complete and timely room turnovers. Collaboration with Guest Experience, Night Audit, and Facilities teams is essential to streamline operations, particularly during peak seasonal periods or operational challenges. In addition to supervising staff, this role supports recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management activities under the guidance of the Facilities Maintenance Manager. Key skills include the ability to motivate teams, exhibit professionalism and emotional intelligence, and maintain a safety-first mindset throughout all operations.

Trailhead Lodge offers extensive employee benefits, including free and discounted season passes for employees and dependents, transportation services, resort discounts, employee housing programs, and a 401k plan with company match. This commitment to employee well-being reflects Mt. Bachelor’s promise to provide a workplace where employees can thrive both professionally and personally, truly living the ethos "Work Where You Play." With a starting pay range of $23 to $24 per hour depending on experience, and a minimum age requirement of 21 years, this full-time onsite position involves flexible scheduling, including weekends and holidays, to meet lodging operational demands throughout the year.
