The role of Housekeeping Supervisor at Southland Casino is a full-time position offering a competitive hourly wage of $17.00 to $19.00. This role is pivotal in maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and safety that the casino and hotel are known for. The Housekeeping Supervisor will oversee all housekeeping team members in guest rooms, public areas, and other parts of the property to ensure that cleanliness meets the company’s exacting standards. This position requires a hands-on leader who can train, manage, and support team members to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in their daily tasks.

A typical day for the Housekeeping Supervisor involves a variety of responsibilities such as conducting regular inspections of guest rooms and public spaces, ensuring proper use and handling of cleaning chemicals in compliance with OSHA regulations, and maintaining high cleanliness and safety standards. The supervisor will also play a crucial role in mentoring staff by providing continuous training and identifying opportunities for process improvements. Job Duties

  • Help train and manage all room, house, and public area team members
  • provide training to team members on a regular basis
  • identify areas of improvement and efficiency
  • ensure stay-over and vacant attendant service is consistently performed by room attendants
  • inspect all assigned guest rooms to ensure quality and safety standards are met
  • demonstrate proper use of cleaning chemicals for designated surfaces
  • handle cleaning chemicals in accordance with OSHA regulations and hotel requirements
