The company emphasizes creating workplaces where employees feel valued and supported both personally and professionally, reflecting the core belief that colleagues are the heart of the organization. The role of Housekeeping Supervisor at Hyatt is a dynamic and essential position within the housekeeping department, perfect for a motivated and personable professional dedicated to excellence in cleanliness and guest satisfaction. This role is integral to maintaining Hyatt's high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, ensuring every guest room and public area meets the brand’s expectations. As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will lead a diverse team including room attendants, house attendants, laundry staff, and public area cleaners. Your leadership will not only enhance operations but also contribute to memorable guest experiences that promote brand loyalty.
In this position, you will oversee daily housekeeping operations, conduct inspections, manage productivity reports, and resolve guest complaints efficiently. Your responsibilities also include general office duties such as counseling and interviewing employees, managing lost-and-found items, controlling keys, and ensuring access to sensitive areas is secure. The role requires a hands-on approach to supervise and train team members, instilling a positive energy that motivates everyone to maintain exemplary cleanliness and sanitation standards.
This role offers a competitive hourly wage of $23.09, with eligibility for overtime, shift differentials, premium pay under specific circumstances, as well as tips, commissions, service charges, or incentive awards. Hyatt supports its employees with a robust benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance starting after 30 days, paid time off including new child leave, 401(k) matching up to 4%, employee stock purchase plans, tuition reimbursement, and complimentary meals. Additionally, employees enjoy perks such as free and discounted room nights, friends and family rates at Hyatt properties, discounts on food and beverages, and exclusive savings on technology and wellness apps like Apple, AT&T, and Headspace.
Hyatt fosters a culture where personal and professional growth is encouraged, making the Housekeeping Supervisor position not only a job but a career opportunity for those who thrive in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment. If you are someone who enjoys leading a team with energy, maintaining organization with style, and exceeding cleanliness standards to ensure memorable guest stays, this role is ideal for you. Working at Hyatt means joining a company that values care, diversity, and a strong commitment to excellence in hospitality.
