The A.M. Housekeeping Supervisor position at InterContinental Hotels & Resorts holds a vital leadership role responsible for managing the housekeeping team's daily operations during the morning shift. This role focuses on ensuring that all guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas meet the rigorous InterContinental brand standards of cleanliness, maintenance, and presentation while simultaneously contributing to exceptional guest experiences. As a supervisor, you will direct, train, and support Room Attendants, Housepersons, and Public Area Attendants, providing coaching that fosters a positive, productive work environment and helps to uphold operational excellence.

The role involves conducting frequent inspections of guest rooms and public areas to maintain high-quality standards, assign daily work schedules according to hotel occupancy and operational needs, and monitor room status to optimize room availability in close collaboration with the Front Office team. The A.M. Housekeeping Supervisor is also integral to managing inventory control, linen management, supply ordering, and cost control initiatives, ensuring efficiency and resource stewardship. In addition, this position requires close coordination with Engineering to address maintenance issues promptly, reinforcing the safety and comfort of the hotel environment.

This position commands strong leadership, organizational skills, and the ability to respond promptly and professionally to guest requests and service recovery opportunities. The supervisor monitors attendance, productivity, and performance among team members, providing constructive feedback and supporting corrective actions when necessary in alignment with company policies. Compliance with safety regulations, OSHA standards, and sanitation procedures is paramount to maintaining a safe and secure workspace for all employees.
