Hilton has been repeatedly acknowledged as one of the World's Best Workplaces by Great Place to Work and Fortune, emphasizing its dedication to a positive and supportive working atmosphere.
As a part of Hilton's dedication to excellence, the Housekeeping Supervisor position plays a pivotal role in maintaining the brand's reputation for cleanliness, comfort, and guest satisfaction. This is more than a supervisory role; it is an opportunity to lead a team in spreading hospitality by ensuring every guest room and public area meets the highest standards. This includes leading, training, and evaluating Room Attendants and Housepersons to ensure consistent delivery of quality service.
The role encompasses overseeing room readiness by assigning tasks, inspecting rooms, and ensuring discrepancies are swiftly addressed. Operational logistics such as monitoring work schedules, payroll, inventory management, and overseeing the lost and found program are also crucial responsibilities. The supervisor works closely with the Engineering and Property Operations teams to coordinate maintenance needs, ensuring repairs and upkeep are managed promptly to maintain operational efficiency.
In addition to managerial duties, the Housekeeping Supervisor actively supports the housekeeping team by performing room attendant and houseperson duties when necessary to maintain service standards. This hands-on involvement ensures service levels remain high and that the team receives direct support when required. The supervisor also plays a significant role in guest relations by addressing special guest needs promptly and professionally, enhancing the guest experience through personalized and attentive service.
Hilton values core principles such as hospitality, integrity, leadership, teamwork, ownership, and urgency. These values shape the qualities Hamilton seeks in its team members, emphasizing the importance of doing the right thing, inspiring and leading others, fostering collaboration, and approaching every moment with a proactive mindset. These qualities are essential for success in the Housekeeping Supervisor role.
Hilton offers a comprehensive benefits package designed to support Team Members' well-being and professional growth. These include exceptional travel perks with deeply discounted room rates, an employee stock purchase program allowing team members to invest in Hilton shares at a discount, paid parental leave, and personalized caregiving support. The company also provides crisis concierge services for emotional and practical support during difficult times, mental health resources through an Employee Assistance Program, generous paid time off to recharge, health and welfare benefits covering medical, dental, and vision care, as well as financial security programs including retirement plans.
Joining Hilton means becoming part of an award-winning workplace culture that values and invests in its people. The company encourages both new and experienced professionals to grow their careers within its supportive environment, making every team member's journey fulfilling and impactful. The Housekeeping Supervisor role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to an iconic brand while helping ensure guests receive the exceptional hospitality Hilton is known for.
