The supervisor will play a critical role in maintaining the high standards expected of this luxury brand by ensuring cleanliness, order, and guest satisfaction.

Specifically, the individual in this supervisory role will be responsible for performing desk opening duties, preparing daily room assignments, and managing workforce schedules to ensure optimal coverage. This includes monitoring payroll programs and preparing payroll reports. They will lead daily team meetings and take part in broader organizational meetings when necessary. One of the vital functions is to monitor staff performance and recommend corrective or disciplinary actions in accordance with company policies, while also notifying management of any serious issues.

Additionally, the role involves managing expenses, minimizing waste within all housekeeping areas, preparing supply inventories, and maintaining appropriate par levels. Completion of administrative tasks such as billing for guest dry cleaning, discrepancy reports, and productivity reports is also essential. They may also assist in deep cleaning projects and perform general housekeeping duties to meet guest expectations.

The position is typically the third layer of supervision in a large hotel’s housekeeping department or assists the Executive Housekeeper at smaller properties.

The hourly pay rate for this role is $19.00, accompanied by a comprehensive benefits package that includes paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401k plans, and other benefits for eligible employees.
