The Housekeeping Supervisor role at The Mission Inn Hotel & Spa is a part-time position with a competitive hourly wage ranging between $18.50 and $20.50. In this vital role, the supervisor ensures the cleanliness standards of guest rooms and public spaces are upheld, as cleanliness is fundamental to guest satisfaction and returning clientele. The supervisor dedicates much of their shift to inspecting rooms and areas, training and onboarding new housekeeping staff, motivating employees, and managing daily workflow to maintain efficiency and exceptional quality.

Key responsibilities include engaging with guests to guarantee a positive stay, coordinating duties among housekeeping team members, holding staff accountable to the highest cleanliness standards, managing inventories of linens and supplies, conducting performance evaluations, and coordinating with the Front Desk Supervisor to ensure smooth operations. Additionally, the supervisor is responsible for safely handling cleaning chemicals, reporting maintenance issues promptly, and managing coverage during peak demand or callouts.

This role requires an individual with excellent attention to detail and the ability to lead and inspire a team. It demands physical stamina as the role involves significant time spent on feet, moving equipment, and lifting loads.
