About the Role: The Housekeeping Supervisor at Four Seasons Surf Club plays a vital leadership role within the Housekeeping department, reporting directly to the Director of Housekeeping. This full-time role involves overseeing a dedicated team of housekeeping professionals committed to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and guest comfort. Candidates will ensure that all guest rooms and public areas meet meticulous standards, with attention to detail including perfectly made beds, spotless surfaces, and neatly arranged towels. The supervisor will lead by example, coordinating daily assignments, monitoring cleanliness and productivity, and providing coaching and training to team members to ensure consistent excellence.
Key responsibilities also include conducting room inspections, managing work orders for repairs, maintaining inventories, and addressing logistical needs during peak business times. This position demands a hands-on approach, with occasional duties overlapping with room attendants or public area attendants during busy periods. The successful Housekeeping Supervisor must demonstrate strong leadership capabilities, effective communication skills, and the ability to motivate and inspire their team while maintaining operational efficiency. Fluency in English is required, with Spanish language skills considered beneficial. Experience with hospitality management software such as Opera, HotSOS, and REX is preferred. Physical stamina to undertake duties involving lifting, bending, and prolonged standing is also essential.

Job Duties
- Develop and coach the team
- participate and lead training events
- provide on-the-job coaching for correcting room deficiencies
- assist with creating daily work assignments
- monitor room completion and productivity
- inspect completed rooms to ensure standards have been met
- complete work orders for room and public area repairs
- release checkout rooms to be sold
- inspect guest corridors, stairwells, elevators and linen closets for cleanliness
- complete inventories of linens and housekeeping supplies
- assist with duties of room attendant, house person or public area worker when necessary
