The role of Housekeeping Supervisor at Crestline Hotels & Resorts is a full-time position pivotal to maintaining the high standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and organization that define the company’s reputation. This supervisory role involves directly overseeing and coordinating the daily activities of the housekeeping staff within the hotel, ensuring every guest room and public area meets the company's rigorous standards. Key responsibilities include resolving guest complaints to maximize satisfaction, monitoring staff attendance and performance, managing supply inventories, and inspecting rooms and public spaces using designated checklists to ensure quality control. The Housekeeping Supervisor plays a critical role in maintaining communication between housekeeping personnel and management, addressing any maintenance or repair needs promptly, and providing ongoing training and feedback to improve staff performance.

Job Duties
- resolve guest complaints ensuring guest satisfaction
- monitor and maintain cleanliness sanitation and organization of assigned work areas
- maintain complete knowledge of room status on A.M. reports report discrepant rooms prioritize and update status of check-out rooms
- ensure that assigned staff have reported to work document any late or absent employees
- coordinate breaks for assigned staff prepare and distribute assignment sheets and review priorities
- assign designated guest room keys and beepers to assigned staff and maintain accurate records and security of keys
- communicate additions or changes to assignment sheets throughout the shift
- inspect supply levels of floor closets and assign personnel to rectify deficiencies
- check room attendant carts for proper supplies neatness cleanliness and mechanical problems
- inspect rooms cleaned by assigned room attendants using designated checklist and relay any deficiencies for correction
- update room status after approving cleanliness and condition
- check vacant and DND rooms verify and update status
- mark dirty sheets of randomly selected rooms and follow up to ensure bed sheets have been changed
- counsel room attendants on discrepancies
- inspect public areas bathrooms fitness center pool offices and service areas using checklists and relay deficiencies
- complete work orders for maintenance repairs submit to housekeeping clerk and contact engineering for urgent repairs
- conduct training of staff as assigned
- provide feedback on staff performance to manager and report disciplinary problems participate in employee counseling
- document pertinent information in department log book
- complete all paperwork and closing duties before leaving
- review status of assignments and follow-up action with manager or on-coming supervisor
- check P.M. reports for accuracy and completeness
- complete night counts according to departmental standards
