Through its EarthView sustainability program, this employer integrates eco-friendly practices into its daily operations, making it an ideal workplace for individuals passionate about both hospitality and environmental stewardship. The employment type is likely full-time or part-time hourly, with a competitive pay rate of $23.77 per hour. Employees in this role can anticipate opportunities for career advancement, following a well-defined growth path that includes potential promotions from Executive Housekeeper to Front Office Manager, Assistant General Manager, and ultimately General Manager.
The role centers on supervising housekeeping staff and ensuring that all guest service and hotel brand standards are consistently achieved, while also adhering to the company's sustainability initiatives. This leadership role requires managing both in-house and vendor staff by training, scheduling, coaching, and supporting associates to uphold the highest levels of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. The supervisor is expected to communicate performance metrics, such as guest service scores, to drive improvements and motivate staff accordingly. Additional responsibilities include issuing supplies, overseeing laundry operations when applicable, and occasionally assisting with cleaning duties to maintain operational efficiency.
Successful incumbents will prioritize safe work habits, compliance with OSHA standards, and use of protective equipment. They will also cultivate a positive and productive work environment by addressing performance and behavioral issues promptly and professionally. This role demands flexibility, as work schedules may vary and include holidays and weekends, along with physical requirements such as standing for long periods, walking, lifting up to 25 pounds, bending, kneeling, and reaching. Employees will benefit from a supportive workplace culture that values people, excellence, agility, and ownership, encapsulated in the company’s core beliefs: People Are Our Capability, Hearts That Serve, Only Excellence, Stay Nimble, Own It.
