The company is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join its team. This role involves assisting the Housekeeping Manager in overseeing housekeeping and laundry operations to ensure that service quality surpasses guest expectations and aligns with company business objectives. The Housekeeping Supervisor will be responsible for scheduling cleaning assignments to guarantee proper coverage throughout the hotel, training employees to equip them with the necessary tools and knowledge to perform their jobs efficiently, and monitoring job performance with recommendations for disciplinary actions when necessary. This role also demands hands-on inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure all furnishings and equipment meet quality standards and contribute to overall guest satisfaction. Job Duties
- schedules room cleaning assignments to ensure proper coverage
- trains employees and ensures they have the tools and equipment needed to effectively carry out their respective job duties
- monitors job performance and makes appropriate recommendations for disciplinary action when needed
- inspects all assigned rooms/suites and public areas to ensure furnishings, guest rooms/suites, equipment, linens, and public areas are clean and in good repair to meet guest satisfaction
- advises employees of deficiencies and instructs on correct procedures
- responds to guest complaints and special requests ensuring appropriate corrective action is taken to achieve guest satisfaction
- notifies management when par levels for supplies and equipment are insufficient
