The company is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join its team. This role involves assisting the Housekeeping Manager in overseeing housekeeping and laundry operations to ensure that service quality surpasses guest expectations and aligns with company business objectives. The supervisor will play a crucial part in ensuring that the hotel's rooms, suites, and public areas are maintained at the highest level of cleanliness and repair. This position is hourly with compensation ranging from $21.00 to $21.75 per hour, offering excellent benefits including medical, dental, life insurance, paid time off, and a 401k plan with company match for full-time employees.

The Housekeeping Supervisor will be responsible for scheduling cleaning assignments to guarantee proper coverage throughout the hotel, training employees to equip them with the necessary tools and knowledge to perform their jobs efficiently, and monitoring job performance with recommendations for disciplinary actions when necessary. This role also demands hands-on inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure all furnishings and equipment meet quality standards and contribute to overall guest satisfaction. Handling guest complaints and special requests with appropriate corrective actions is another vital responsibility, alongside notifying management of supply and equipment shortfalls to maintain smooth operations.

Ideal candidates will have 1-2 years of experience in housekeeping or janitorial roles, with at least one year of supervisory experience preferred. Physical stamina is important, as the role requires the ability to stand and walk for an eight-hour shift and the physical ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds. Strong communication skills and the ability to follow verbal directions and complete assigned tasks promptly are essential for success in this position.
